An introduction to Kefallonia

Kefallonia is a large and imposing island, the largest of the Ionians. Its tallest peak, Ainos
towers over the island at 1627m.

The island is home to dozens of sandy coves that hide under sheer cliffs bordered by deep azure seas. Sandy beaches and pebbled beaches are dotted all around the island, never allowing a day of exploration to end.

The island has a good road network, linking the southern part of the island to its northern half. The road winds along high mountains, bordered by sheer cliffs that vanish into deep blue seas.

The island offers something for everyone. Nature lovers will admire the northern part of the islands blanket of dense vegetation that stops just meters from the waters edge.
Local arts and crafts will remind guests of holidays past that felt like yesterday, local foods, wines and desserts will entice many to try the recipes at home!

An introduction to Fiscardo

Fiscardo is situated on the nothern tip of the island of Kefallonia, set apart from the rest of the island in an exclusive natural bay, with the Island of Ithaca ever present and visible just across a small channel, creating the appearence of a large flat lake.
The village is surrounded by deep, emerald green forests, enveloping it in a blanket of natural harmony. The village is thus an ideal location for those wanting to avoid the brash energy of clubs and associated forms of entertainment. Fiskardo is ideally suited to couples and those seeking a chilled out holiday lounging at the pool, with limited activities!
